Job description

We are looking for happy, energetic teammates to join us and work morning/afternoon/evening shifts during the week, and weekends required. Saturday and Sunday availability is a MUST-HAVE for this role! Flexible availability is most desired. This is not a seasonal position. Looking for someone who wants to be at roots long term and work up to leadership positions down the road. Applicants must be 18 years or older. We are located on 108 Lincolnway in beautiful downtown Valpo. Our ideal candidate is reliable, responsible, and has some commercial kitchen and customer service experience. Tips included in hourly wage.
Responsibilities
- Love your teammates and customers
- Use knives & other kitchen tools without cutting your hands off
- Make delicious healthy food and drinks
- Keep all areas of the cafe clean & organized
- Be on time
Qualifications
- Respect for yourself and your fellow humans
- Some commercial kitchen experience
- Ability to give and take feedback
- Knowledge of plant-based nutrition is a BIG plus
