Job Description Guest Services Representative Eagan Community Center Pay: $17.248 Part-Time Recurring (Year-Round), Non-Exempt, Not Benefit Eligible Join us at the Eagan Community Center as a Guest Services Representative. The ECC is recruiting positive and enthusiastic people from all backgrounds and levels of experience to deliver quality customer service to our members and guests. The Guest Service position plays an active role in delivering a variety of public services to a variety of user groups and customers

The Eagan Community Center has a banquet facility, fitness center, senior center, indoor playground, multi-purpose gymnasium, meeting rooms and an information desk. The guest service staff is trained to work in all areas of operation which requires the ability to multi-task and work as a team to meet the needs of all user groups in the building. Applicants should have evening availability for evenings and weekends.

The Eagan Community Center is open from 6am - 9pm Monday through Friday, 7am-8pm Saturday & Sunday. Essential Position Functions In this job you will: Greet members and guests, providing information about the facility and events. Process and update fitness memberships.

Set up and take down of tables and chairs for meetings and special events. Audio/Visual support and beverage service for facility rentals. Provide tours of the facility, pricing, and rental availability to potential renters.

Answer questions and provide information on a variety of building and city functions. Work with all abilities and ages in a fun and safe environment. Work alone and as part of a team.

Follow work direction and keep supervisor informed of any concerns. Collect payments and registrations for services and events. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications What is needed to apply for this job. Job seekers should be age 16 or older. Customer service experience.

Evening and weekend availability. Ability to lift/move 50 pounds. Things that may help you be successful in this role You may be a great fit it you have: One (1) or more years of work or volunteer experience working with the public or children.

Examples could include babysitting, caring for a sibling, volunteer, youth sports coach, lawn service work, etc. Participated in activities, sports, clubs, or other groups. Knowledge of: RecTrac software.

Basic audio/visual equipment operation. Skills in: Customer Service. Communication.

Multi-tasking and organization. Cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to: Display courtesy, patience, and friendliness.

Work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends. Physical Requirements: Perform light maintenance including, but not limited to, room set-up/take down and general cleaning (windows, indoor playground, floors, spills, tables, chairs, clean surfaces in restrooms and locker rooms, wipe down fitness equipment, restock paper products, pick up outside litter and snow removal when needed). Must be able to lift/move 50 pounds.

Working Conditions: Hours of work will include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position may require periodic changes to the schedule based on the demands of the building. FLSA non-exempt position.
