About the OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions that drive enterprise analytics and business decision-making. This role will lead the development of robust data pipelines, curated data products, and analytics applications while partnering closely with business and technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments, takes ownership of data domains, and mentors others through technical leadership.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL, and Palantir Foundry.
- Build scalable data integration solutions supporting analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.
- Develop and maintain analytics-ready datasets and curated data products.
- Create and support custom applications within Palantir Foundry, including Workshop and Pipeline Builder.
- Implement data quality, validation, monitoring, governance, and security controls.
- Optimize cloud-based data lake and warehouse environments.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex data issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Contribute to architecture, data modeling, documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor team members and help establish technical standards across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of data engineering experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with Palantir Foundry.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and pandas.
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data products.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data architecture principles.
- Experience with Git and software development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX 2-3 days per week.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship available).
- Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, POS, or marketing systems.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, RBAC, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with medallion architecture and data modeling standards.
- Background supporting advanced analytics, forecasting, anomaly detection, or machine learning initiatives.
- Experience leading design reviews and influencing long-term data platform strategy.
- Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience.
