Sign-On Bonus: $2,500

Ellisville Rehab & Nursing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Evening Supervisor to lead and oversee nursing staff during the evening shift. The RN Evening Supervisor ensures high-quality care is provided to residents, promotes a supportive work environment, and maintains compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

  • Oversee nursing staff during evening shifts, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels by monitoring attendance and arranging coverage when needed.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address staff concerns in coordination with the Director of Nursing.

Resident Care

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care needs of residents.
  • Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely documentation of any changes.
  • Respond to emergencies, provide crisis management, and communicate critical updates to families and physicians.
  • Conduct rounds to ensure all residents are receiving appropriate care and treatment.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
  • Monitor infection control practices and adherence to safety protocols.

Communication & Coordination

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and services for residents.
  • Serve as the point of contact for evening shift staff, residents, families, and external providers.
  • Communicate significant events or issues to the on-call administrator or Director of Nursing.
Qualifications

Education & Licensure

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri, in good standing.
  • BLS/CPR certification (required).

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
