Position Overview

Community Health Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This full-time remote position will play a critical role in our commitment to enhancing the well-being of individuals and families while advocating for social justice and community empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with community partners to enhance service delivery and drive program development and evaluation.
  • Participate actively in training and team meetings, sharing insights and strategies for improved client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and families who face various challenges. This may range from mental health issues and family conflicts to socioeconomic struggles. Your role will not only involve providing support but also empowering these individuals through advocacy and resource access, significantly improving their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and social justice principles.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within nonprofit organizations or similar settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Virginia community health landscape and resources available to support our client population.
  • Skills in program development and grant reporting would be beneficial to enhance community initiatives.

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 75,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
