Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Vision Works Youth Counseling Center. Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while being part of a dynamic and supportive team. Your work hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a structured yet flexible schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families, addressing psychosocial and emotional needs.
• Serve as a key liaison between families, outpatient providers, and insurance companies, managing pre-certification and ensuring proper utilization of mental health services.
• Participate actively in discharge and aftercare planning, ensuring clients have access to the appropriate resources to continue their recovery journey.
• Provide therapeutic support during meals, modeling healthy relationships with food by addressing emotional eating behaviors while empowering clients to cultivate self-acceptance.
• Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirmative care responsive to the diverse identities and backgrounds of each client.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in various electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Vision Works, we work closely with a wide range of clients, primarily youth and their families, many of whom face unique challenges related to mental health, trauma, and systemic barriers. Our approach emphasizes understanding and addressing the specific needs of each individual, from providing emotional support to identifying appropriate community resources. Your expertise will be critical in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys while ensuring their voices are heard and valued.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Illinois.
• Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents, particularly in understanding the intricate dynamics of family systems.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop client-centered treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients and families.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a hospice or palliative care setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to mental health services and experience working with insurance processes.

Compensation and Benefits
