\n The Energy Storage Market Analyst will play a supporting role in driving transmission zonal and nodal production cost modeling efforts to support the commercial strategy of utility\-scale renewable energy projects across all ISO \/ RTO markets in the United States.   • Power Market Analyst \/ Energy Markets Engineer \- develops production cost models and analysis of transmission renewable industry patterns in AURORA, PLEXOS, PROMOD, GRIDVIEW, or UPLAN to predict short\/long term electricity prices and drive greenfield renewables project development siting initiatives<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Power Market Analyst \/ Energy Markets Engineer \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>performs optimization modeling to forecast congestion, assess congestion drivers, and assist in locational marginal pricing (LMP) assessments<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Power Market Analyst \/ Energy Markets Engineer \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>advises on zonal & nodal analysis to enhance the company's market platform<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Power Market Analyst \/ Energy Markets Engineer \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>selects trading nodes based on market congestion patterns & bid curve analysis<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Power Market Analyst \/ Energy Markets Engineer \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>facilitates transmission topology comparisons and updates<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Power Market Analyst \/ Energy Markets Engineer \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>develops data visualization dashboards in PowerBI and queries in SQL to streamline processes<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    \n QUALIFICATIONS:<\/span><\/span><\/b>

      \n
    • 1\-3 Years transmission power market experience focused on production cost modeling, economic planning, or transmission market operations experience <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>\n
    • AURORA power market modelling experience is ideal but similar programs like PROMOD, PLEXOS, GridView, and UPLAN will also be considered<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>\n
    • Must have experience with various types of analysis \- capacity prices, regional energy pricing, congestion and curtailment analysis, transmission constraints, interconnection assessments, LMPs, and\/or regional supply and demand curves<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>\n
    • Data Visualization experience in tools like PowerBI are HUGE PLUS<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>\n
    • Hands\-on experience or solid understanding of transmission topology<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>\n
    • Must have an understanding of national energy markets and renewable energy portfolios (PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO\-NE, and CAISO)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>\n
    • Experience and strong automation skills in Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, MATLAB<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>\n
    • Any battery storage or large scale renewable energy (solar, wind, hydrogen) experience is a HUGE PLUS<\/span><\/span><\/span>
