Job description

Writing Services Specialist

Do you excel at helping graduate learners find their scholarly voice? At The Art of Education University (AOEU), strong academic writing is foundational to graduate success. We're seeking a Writing Services Specialist who can provide individualized writing support, develop accessible self-service resources, and help graduate students write with clarity, confidence, and rigor.

In this role, you will deliver direct writing support to students through 1:1 consultations and course-embedded feedback, maintain a high-impact online writing center, and collaborate across the university to elevate academic voice and writing standards throughout our programs.

Structured as a remote part-time hourly position. This position requires regular availability during normal business hours (~10 hours/week) to collaborate with peers and regular evening and weekend availability (~10 hours/week) to support AOEU students. This role reports to the Dean of Graduate Studies.

We have been a 100% remote company since the beginning!  This position is eligible for remote work from the following locations: USA.
