Job description

A high-growth fintech software organization is seeking a Frontend TypeScript Engineer to join its expanding engineering team. This employer specializes in automating the collection, organization, and extraction of complex investment fund document data for institutional investors. Following consecutive years of exceptional growth, including doubling revenue last year and projecting similar performance this year, the organization is investing heavily in product innovation and engineering talent. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building modern web applications, solving complex technical challenges, and contributing to a platform that delivers meaningful value to financial institutions.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript development practices
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles
  • Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with backend development using Python (Django experience preferred but not required)
  • Understanding of software architecture and system design fundamentals
  • Experience writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Svelte or other modern frontend frameworks
  • Professional experience with Django
  • Exposure to cloud-based environments and scalable distributed systems
  • Familiarity with performance optimization and frontend architecture best practices
  • Experience working within high-growth startup or SaaS organizations
  • Understanding of data-intensive applications or fintech products
  • Experience participating in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and automated testing practices
