• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to accurately evaluate clients’ mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions, as well as family and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities designed to enhance the healing process.
• Implement various evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy to support client growth and mental well-being.
• Develop and create personalized treatment plans, establishing clear therapeutic goals and outlining interventions tailored to each client.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care and management.
• Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes that provide supportive environments for clients to share experiences and learn from one another.
• Conduct crisis interventions as necessary, including risk assessments and safety planning, to safeguard clients during vulnerable moments.
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation to meet ethical and legal standards, ensuring the accurate tracking of client progress and treatment efficacy.

This role focuses on a diverse array of clients, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and life experiences. As an LMFT, you will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, addressing issues such as relational discord, parenting challenges, and trauma recovery. Your efforts will play a crucial role in enhancing their emotional and psychological well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program is essential.
• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required to practice in Colorado.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are imperative for effective client interactions and treatment planning.
• A solid foundation in assessment techniques and therapeutic methodologies is critical for success in this role.

While a minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is preferred, recent graduates with applicable internship experiences may be considered. Proficiency in evidence-based modalities and the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are highly valued.
