Position: Full-Time Live-In Nanny
Schedule: Preferred 6 days per week, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM (the family may consider a 5-day schedule for the right candidate)
Salary: $120,000+ per year, plus a health insurance stipend

A warm, loving, and private family in Kings Point, New York is seeking a dedicated live-in Nanny with experience supporting children or young adults with autism to care for their 21-year-old son.

Their son is verbal, kind-hearted, enjoys being around others, and thrives with consistent guidance, encouragement, and meaningful interaction. He is on the middle of the autism spectrum, with his greatest challenges being communication and independence. He is not aggressive and has a calm, easygoing personality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare breakfast and assist with meals throughout the day

  • Support daily hygiene routines, including washing up and changing clothes
  • Maintain appropriate supervision by accompanying him throughout the home while allowing appropriate independence
  • Engage in meaningful conversation and activities, offering consistent language exposure in clear English
  • Accompany him to outings such as bowling, restaurants, and community activities
  • Ride with the familys driver for school pick-up and drop-off as needed
  • Support bedtime routine around 7:30 PM, including getting into pajamas and settling for the night
  • Monitor overnight using bedroom monitors; assist if he wakes during the night (rare)
