Job description

The Traveling Propane Delivery Driver (Assistance & Contingency Team) supports Superior Plus Propane locations during extreme weather events and urgent customer demand by safely operating a propane bobtail to load, transfer, and deliver propane. This role requires frequent travel within the state, throughout the West region, and out of state. When not deployed, the driver performs standard propane delivery within their home region.

What You'll do:

  • Deploy to CSCs experiencing severe weather or emergency conditions to deliver propane.
  • Perform regional propane delivery when not traveling.
  • Safely operate a propane bobtail; load, transfer, and deliver propane.
  • Work outdoors in all conditions, including snow, ice, and disasteraffected areas.
  • Complete pretrip and posttrip inspections and maintain vehicle safety.
  • Use onboard technology for routing, inventory, and delivery documentation.
  • Communicate with Dispatch for routing and deployment instructions.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and professionally.

What you bring:

  • Interstate CDL Class A or B.
  • HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
  • Strong driving experience, including mountains, snow, and longdistance travel.
  • Knowledge of propane handling and safety procedures.
  • Ability to travel approximately twothirds of each month.
  • Ability to travel regionally and nationally with 24–48 hours’ notice.
  • Current DOT medical certification.
  • Excellent driving and safety record.
  • Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work outdoors in all conditions.
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - $33.00 per hour.
