TITLE: Evening Custodians (Hours typically from 3-11 pm)LOCATION: Clear Creek Amana High School - floating to other buildings as neededJOB SUMMARY: Maintains the Clear Creek Amana School facilities and grounds.REPORTS TO: Building Engineer or Director of Buildings and GroundsQUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent.Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently. Physically able to stand, walk, climb, se hands and fingers to handle and/or feel objects, squat, stoop, kneel, reach above the head and push/pull or lift/move heavy objects Work in various inside and outside environments being subjected to weather changes and various noise levels.Has manual dexterity to handle pieces of custodial equipment such as vacuums, mop buckets, electric floor scrubbers, etc. Requires lifting materials weighing up to (seventy) 70 pounds on a routine basis and may be required to lift heavier items on occasion.SPECIFIC DUTIES: Keep buildings and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas safe, neat and clean at all times. This includes thorough cleaning, scrubbing of floors, cleaning fixtures, washing windows, dustingEnsure doors locked after evening eventsPerform regular building checksMove furniture as requiredPerform snow removal when neededOther duties as assignedReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
