Job description

Evening Private Duty Nurse (LPN/RN)

Location: Northern York County, PA
Company: Maxim Healthcare Services
Pay Rate: $32.00 - $38.00 per Hour
Shift: Evening Shifts Available

Make a Difference One Patient at a Time

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide skilled one-on-one care for patients in the Northern York County area during evening hours. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy building meaningful patient relationships while delivering high-quality care in a home setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the physician's plan of care
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Document patient care accurately and timely
  • Educate patients and family members regarding health needs and care plans
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
  • Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Qualifications
  • Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania LPN or RN license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong assessment and clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a homecare setting
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Homecare or private duty nursing experience preferred, but not required
