    • Monitoring design and implementation
  • Design and implement highly available scalable solutions, collaborating with engineering as required
  • Apply deep expertise in systems administration and networking to improve response time and customer satisfaction organization wide
  • Produce high quality operational documentation. This may include diagrams, high-level descriptions of the environment, or detailed instructions outlining the steps required to repeat the build-out and configuration of the infrastructure
  • Embrace a "we" culture in addition to being an outstanding collaborator and communicator
  • Contribute to annual budget and internal IT roadmap planning
  • Other related duties that may arise - we are a small creative startup who all wear many hats
What we're looking for:
We are seeking an IT professional with proven ability and a strong record of delivering successful projects. Experience in media, entertainment, or gaming is a plus. Someone with hands-on experience planning, implementing, and operationalizing projects, who is comfortable managing initiatives through the full lifecycle from inception to completion, will thrive in this role. They are highly effective at prioritizing their own workload, bring solid attention to detail, and are familiar with a range of project management methodologies.
This person should have solid technical expertise in infrastructure and systems administration, including proficiency with scripting and automation tools, as well as broader infrastructure-as-code practices. They should be skilled in installing, configuring, and running Microsoft Windows Server environments, with foundational Linux knowledge. A solid understanding of Active Directory is required. Familiarity with SAML and OIDC authentication protocols, along with experience or exposure to Okta, is also important. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They must diagnose and fix complex systems and network issues. They will also maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and changes. They should also have a genuine passion for learning and continuous improvement of their knowledge.
