Job description

NAVA Software solutions is looking for a Pentaho ETL Developer
Details:
Pentaho/ETL Developer
Location: NYC, NY (preferred option), Pittsburgh, PA, Lake Mary, FL - (Hybrid, 20 days quarter)
Duration: 12+ Months contract to perm
Top skills required: Spark, Pentaho, Hadoop, Allocations knowledge is a MUST.
Desired Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of Pentaho ETL tool
  • Strong development experience in writing PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, packages and debugging the code
  • Strong development experience working with Bigdata DBs preferable HP Vertica
  • Strong development experience working with Oracle
  • Working knowledge of source control tools such as GitLab
  • Experience in creating documents like requirement document, functional/technical specs, use case, test plans, data flow diagrams etc. for allotted projects
  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders, onshore/offshore model
  • Effectively communicate and understand project requirements
  • Ability to self-manage development projects with good turn-around time.
  • 20 days per quarter in office
  • Looking for Pentaho Dev with Hadoop and Spark
  • Need to have experience working on financial applications
  • Must be a hands on developer and MUST understand finance cost allocation (how finance allocation works)
  • MUST have Master's degree
  • Hours will be 3pm-11pm first 5 days of the month - Should be available for evening support as needed
  • Need to have 7+ years of experience
