Job description

Perform maintenance activities to support the safety, reliability, and efficiency of assigned plants. This includes reliability performance data, project management, process / equipment optimization, engineering design, procurement, risk assessment, and reliability best practice.
This role will provide technical subject matter expertise support for or lead
• Work in a safe manner and comply with OSHA and The Company Safety rules.
• Responsible for maintenance and installation of all field instruments
• Responsible for process control computers and electrical maintenance at all The Company facilities
• Operates and controls equipment used in an air separation plant.
• Must maintain Qualified Electrical Worker certification
• Maintains quality control and quality assurance equipment, including process analyzers and gas chromatographs - Install, maintain, adjust and repair manual, pneumatic, electric and electronic measuring, recording, and regulating instrumentation.
• Maintains calibration standards, including inspection, testing and measuring equipment as well as calibration gas cylinders , rebuild pumps, clean coolers, help with rotating equipment rebuilds. Perform routine and non-routine analytical calibrations and adjustments.
• Works with management team to schedule calibration and preventive maintenance programs to achieve plant and company strategic quality goals. Assists in the training and development of others when needed
• Work in a safe manner and comply with OSHA and The Company Safety rules.
• Performs maintenance on compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, and other plant equipment, when required.
• Reliability best practice development and compliance enforcement. (Specifications, Standards, and Policies),
• Accurate, organized, and on-time administrative reporting (reports, schedule, tasks, time, costs, etc.)
• Reads and interprets technical drawings and manuals.
• Ability to research, select and negotiate purchases for suitable plant equipment - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals - Statistical and analytical skills.
• Clean driving record
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards
Education:
High School Diploma with industrial related experience required
Associate degree in an industrial field plus 10 years of related experience preferred.
Work Experience:
1-3 years Reliability I&E / related work preferred
1-3 years Process operation / related work preferred
1-3 years Reliability Maintenance, Industrial, Chemical or Mechanical disciplines required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to assess the reliability of systems, products, and processes in business operations, then use tools and methodologies to overcome, prevent, or improve potential issues to ensure optimal performance
• Knowledge of risk management, loss prevention, and life cycle asset management programs,
• Perform data analysis, interpret technical drawings / documents.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify potential problems, analyze data, prioritize, and implement solutions.
• Communication skills to explain technical concepts and coordinate / collaborate effectively.
• Project Management ability to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously (plan, schedule, and organize)
• Proven Leadership skills to learn from and mentor others, identify and influence critical paths / resources, and organize / lead teams to make good decisions and reduce mistakes.
• Organizational skills for time management and effective multitasking and prioritization
