Quality Control Technician

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team in a Cleanroom environment. This role is responsible for inspecting, testing, documenting, and verifying products and components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, internal quality procedures, ISO standards, and quality requirements. The position supports the cleanroom operations by identifying nonconforming material, maintaining accurate inspection records, and helping ensure products meet quality and cleanliness standards before release.

Key Responsibilities: Quality Control & Inspection

  • Perform incoming, in-process, final, and cleanroom-related inspections as required.
  • Review work orders, engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria to verify product conformity.
  • Inspect components for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, cleanliness, labeling accuracy, packaging integrity, and overall workmanship.
  • Use approved measuring tools, gauges, inspection equipment, and test methods accurately and safely.
  • Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability requirements are met.
  • Identify, segregate, and document nonconforming material in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities in coordination with Production, Cleanroom, Engineering, and Quality teams.
  • Verify that cleaning, bagging, sealing, labeling, and packaging activities meet documented requirements and customer specifications.
  • Assist with calibration checks and ensure inspection equipment is properly maintained and suitable for use.
  • Communicate quality concerns, process issues, and improvement opportunities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety, PPE, ISO, and quality system requirements.

Work Schedule

  • Fixed schedule, with flexibility as business needs require.
  • Some early morning, evening, or weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous quality inspection, manufacturing, cleanroom production experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience with ISO quality systems, traceability, and nonconforming material processes preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple to complex work instructions in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection aids.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation discipline.
