The University of Arizona's Department of Linguisitincs invites you to apply to the role of Adjunct Lecturer. In this role you will teach LING / AIS 104A First year Diné Bizaad (Navajo Language) (First semester of the language sequence).

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Teach LING/AIS 104A, first-semester university level Diné Bizaad (Navajo language) courses,including practice in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Designmaterials for this class, and develop an appropriate teaching methodology forthe class.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Fluent speaker of Navajo, background in Linguistics or related area (ie: American Indian Studies)
  • Masters Degree

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Dine Bizaad teaching experience
  • Ph.D
