Who Weโ€™re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor to join our team.ย We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! The Clinical Medical Assistant Programs run for 8-10 weeks. Applicants must be available during our weekday evening schedule. The evening schedule is as follows:ย 

  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5:30 pm-9:00 pm
  • Location:ย Salinas, CA

Duties & Responsibilities: ย 

  • Advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
  • Assist in student learning outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
  • Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
  • Facilitate all required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor
  • Grade class assignments and exams.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field required.
  • Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
  • Front office experience.
  • Back-office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience.
  • No teaching experience required
  • Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
  • Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
  • Comfortable with computers and technology.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Current CPR certification.
