Job description

Your Night Starts When the Plant Quiets—And That’s When You Shine

At Howmet Aerospace, the parts we make help power quieter, more efficient aircraft and keep commercial transportation moving. Behind every successful production run is a skilled electrician ensuring critical systems are ready for the next shift. Explore who we are at www.howmet.com.

A Day-in-the-Life (Off-Shift)

You arrive, review the maintenance log, and prioritize the evening’s electrical and instrumentation work. A production line flags an electronic fault—your troubleshooting isolates the issue, repairs are made, and instrumentation is recalibrated. You loop back to preventive tasks, verify system performance, and document your work so the line starts strong in the morning.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Pinpoint and repair faults in electrical and electronic equipment used in manufacturing
  • Maintain, tune, and calibrate instrumentation to ensure repeatable process performance
  • Execute preventive maintenance and support equipment reliability improvements
  • Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and enhance safety
What You Bring
  • Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • One of the following: Journeyman classification (U.A.W. card required); a minimum of eight (8) years of documented experience; or completion of a bona fide apprenticeship with a certificate
Also Helpful
  • Curtain Wall Systems familiarity
  • Ability to meet physical requirements
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer literacy
Rewards

Enjoy paid holidays, vacation, a 401(k) savings plan, and comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
