Job description

Deposition Coordinator
Location: Atlantic City, NJ (On-site)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day Shift)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Vendor Fee: 4%
Eligibility Requirement: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder only

Our client is a well-established law firm serving clients in Insurance Defense and Employment/Casino Defense practice areas. The firm is known for its commitment to professionalism, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality legal services through a collaborative and client-focused team.
Position Overview
The firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Deposition Coordinator to join its Atlantic City office. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of depositions, ensuring seamless scheduling, communication, and execution. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage a master deposition calendar using Microsoft Outlook
  • Confirm depositions daily and communicate updates to all relevant parties
  • Reschedule postponed depositions and coordinate changes with attorneys, clients, and vendors
  • Schedule court reporters, translators, and other third-party vendors as requested
  • Coordinate with Support Services to ensure conference rooms are properly set up
  • Maintain conference room schedules and post daily schedules each evening
  • Provide backup receptionist coverage, handling incoming calls with professionalism and strong phone etiquette
  • Perform legal assistant and administrative duties, including calendaring, document preparation, and drafting correspondence
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Prior law firm experience - required
  • Prior Deposition Coordinator experience - preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with NetDocuments is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
