Summary
Coordinates, implements, teaches, and supervises assigned pre-hospital/healthcare-related programs to healthcare providers of all levels. Assists with the growth and development of educational programs in the pre-hospital community. Travel will be necessary as the position includes covering sites as needed. Occasional weekend and evening hours.
Job Duties
  • Able to lecture and run skill stations in a variety of courses.
  • Completes pre/post course work for assigned curricula.
  • Assesses need for new curriculum and develops courses based on customer needs.
  • Responsible for monthly profit/loss reports of classes.
  • Monitors and evaluates teaching effectiveness of adjunct instructors.
  • Schedules courses for adjunct instructors based on student enrollment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Specialized Diploma NR Paramedic or PHRN
  • 3 years Teaching to healthcare providers and
  • 5 years Critical care or EMS experience and
  • Ability to utilize simulation medicine in the delivery of educational programs.
  • Ability to present course material through lecture presentation or skill stations.
  • Possess strong knowledge background in EMS and American Heart Association related courses.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments within the network.
  • PA EMT-P Paramedic - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or
  • Paramedic - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Upon Hire or
  • Pre-Hospital RN - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association Upon Hire

Physical Demands
