Job description


The Greer Group is recruiting Couriers for our client in Raleigh. These are temporary positions slated through November 2026!Monday - Friday, 8: 30 AM - 5: 15 PM.Evening and Weekend overtime required during Election Season, some weeks are 50-60 hour work weeks!
  • Assist with packing, staging, and loading supplies onto moving trucks.
  • Assist with the setup and break down of equipment and supplies at voting locations across the county.
  • Assist with labor intensive warehouse duties including packing, cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Provide courier service on a fixed route during the early voting period between the Operations Center and voting locations including:
  • Deliver additional ballots and supplies.
  • Pick up prior day's voted ballots and completed forms.
  • Assist with the preparation of the next day's supplies to be delivered.
  • Complete custody forms for each item delivered and picked up.
  • Maintain and tidy the stock of extra supplies kept on the vans.
  • Maintain the van, which includes: key custody, filing the gas tank as needed, and informing the report-to manager of any issues with or damage to the vehicle on a daily basis.
  • Maintain regular communication via cell phone with the report-to manager while on the road performing deliveries and pickups.
  • Assist in reconciliation after elections

Job Requirements
  • Employee must have a valid North Carolina Driver's License and be willing to drive.
  • Prefer local candidates who are familiar with Wake County roads and comfortable navigating across the county.
  • Employee will be required to do business related driving using a rental box truck during the Early Voting period.
  • Must be comfortable working in VARIOUS roles which may include physical labor, site setup and equipment assembly, supply inventory general office tasks and other supporting roles
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US.
  • Available to work full day and must be able to work up to 50-60 hour work week (including
  • some weekends) during election season.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for at least three hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Background check and drug screen required.
