Job description


Job Title: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician
Location: Chicago, IL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Additional bonus provided for OB deliveries
Qualifications
  • MD or DO in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (must obtain certification within 1 year of start date)
  • Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain before start
  • Experience collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) preferred
  • Experience or exposure to OB/GYN is a plus but not required
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Polish is a plus
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, including obstetric services
  • Collaborate with physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Participate in residency precepting and/or inpatient service (optional; may reduce patient care sessions)
  • Manage patient encounters using EMR and complete documentation within 72 business hours
  • Participate in after-hours, weekend, and OB call rotation
  • Support and meet quality care metrics (e.g., cancer screenings, chronic disease management)
  • Contribute to a patient-centered and culturally sensitive care environment
Schedule Highlights
  • 8 standard clinic sessions per week
  • 1 administrative session per week
  • 1 OB hospital delivery session per week
  • 1 evening clinic per week (approximately 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM)
  • 1 Saturday per month (9:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
  • OB call rotation at hospital (24-hour shifts, approximately 3-5 times per month)
