Locums | Interventional Cardiology | Springfield, MO (MO or IMLC)Why This Role

  • MO or IMLC accepted
  • Call only, defined STEMI/cath lab dates
  • Board eligible welcome
  • Level 1 trauma center with deep support (17 RNs, 15 APPs)
  • Ongoing need, multiple providers accepted — locums-to-perm potential
    • Assignment Details
  • Start/end: Defined STEMI/cath lab dates — 11/23-25, 11/27-29, 12/14, 12/18-20, 12/23, 12/28, 12/31; ongoing (authorized through 6/30/2027)
  • Schedule: 16-hour call; in-house call, 30-min response, 1:5 ratio, 58% callback
  • Coverage type: Call only, inpatient — interventional call, cath lab procedures, inpatient consults and rounding
  • Volume: ~20 phone consults; 45 beds
  • Setting: Level 1 trauma, stroke certified
  • Support: 17 RNs, 19 MAs, 15 PA/NPs, 15 office staff
  • EMR: Epic
  • Credentialing: ~90 days
    • Clinical Details
  • Required scope: Interventional cardiology call coverage — STEMI call, cath lab procedures, inpatient consults and rounding
  • Rounds on assigned patients
