Hidden behind a discreet entrance on the third floor of the prestigious RIVANI building, this intimate, cocktail driven speakeasy brings a cinematic sense of theater to the art of mixology. Centered around Tokyo precision style bartending known as Ginza style, the experience focuses on elevated cocktails served alongside Japanese inspired light bites designed for sharing. Warm lighting, layered textures, and curated vinyl allow the room to effortlessly evolve from early evening conversation into late night energy.
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Lead Bartender will work closely with in-venue management to ensure that the bar
maintains The h.wood Group's standards of excellence in regards to attitude, customer
service, beverage quality, employee relations, and job performance. The position looks for an individual with an energetic and professional attitude and a strength in multitasking. They must be well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of working in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain updated cocktail and liquor menus in conjunction with in-venue
  • management.
  • Maintain accurate inventory data and oversee the receipt of all liquor and related
  • supplies in conjunction with in-venue management.
  • Coordinate all weekly ordering in consultation with management.
  • Lead all new hire beverage training in consultation with in-venue managers.
  • Ensure compliance of all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar and bar equipment.
  • Assist in cocktail development for seasonal and trend changes.
  • Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional
  • manner, maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Recognize areas for improvement and offer positive solutions for change.
  • Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges
  • are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash
  • register.
  • Perform all opening and closing duties.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Attend monthly meetings with beverage director.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid FL Food Handlers Card is required.
  • Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer
  • service.
  • Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent
  • bending, squatting, and lifting.
  • Must be 21+years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have high energy, great communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent time management skills.
