Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary:
The NovaEdge program is seeking to hire Resident Assistants to provide assistance with the residence hall and activities with the NovaEdge High School students. The NovaEdge Resident Assistant will provide guidance and monitor high school students who participate in the program. They will meet with the students and involve them in on campus activities. They will also accompany the students on trips to companies that are in the area. The NovaEdge Program curriculum includes lectures by industry and university professionals, article reviews, and varying learning experiences. The students will have some day and evening hours.
The NovaEdge program will be held on the Villanova campus, with housing in Sullivan Hall which allows students immediate access to engineering laboratories and state-of-the-art technological equipment. The program will be held for one week during July, including one weekend from 7/10/26 to 7/18/26. Student run activities will follow mostly an afternoon and evening schedule. The students will be served breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Requirements:
Villanova Students must be rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors referred by your self, faculty or staff and must be in good standing with Villanova University.
Additional Information:
Compliance background checks are required of all applicants in order to work with minors on campus.
