Summary:
Supports and maintains the organization's network infrastructure, including core network services and connectivity platforms. Implements approved network hardware/software changes and supports projects that improve availability, performance, and resiliency. Operates and maintains network access control, remote connectivity, perimeter/DMZ connectivity, and application delivery services. Troubleshoots complex network issues end-to-end, coordinates service restoration, and provides input on network design and operational improvements.
This position may be performed on-site, hybrid, or remotely with the following guidelines:
  • The employee must reside in Nebraska.
  • Successfully completes a 90-day on-site introductory period starting on day 1.
  • If fully remote, may be required to come on-site up to 20%.
  • Adherence to all other organizational remote work requirements and policies.

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and support enterprise network platforms and services across the organization, including data center and remote connectivity while ensuring geographic and vendor diversity and redundancy in partnership with internet service providers. Troubleshoot incidents and complex service issues, coordinate restoration efforts, and drive problems to resolution.
2. Administer and maintain network monitoring and management platforms (e.g., Aruba AirWave, HPE Intelligent Management Center, and HPE GreenLake insights where applicable). Configure and tune alerting, dashboards, baselines, and reporting to ensure monitoring is actionable and supports overall service reliability.
3. Operate and maintain DMZ connectivity and supporting network services, including segmentation/VLANs, routing dependencies, and NAT/policy implementation support in accordance with approved changes. Ensure changes are planned, documented, validated, and executed with minimal disruption.
4. Operate and maintain core network services including DNS and Windows DHCP: scope configuration, reservations, options, lease/utilization tracking, and troubleshooting name resolution and address assignment issues across enterprise and segmented networks.
5. Operate and maintain wireless and mobility services including Aruba controllers, Aruba Mobility Conductor, and WLAN configurations. Troubleshoot client connectivity and performance, assist with RF/coverage optimization, and provide input on wireless design improvements based on operational findings.
6. Operate and maintain network access control services (ClearPass), including client onboarding, authentication workflows, posture/role enforcement as applicable, and troubleshooting access issues for wired and wireless networks.
7. Operate and maintain remote connectivity services (GlobalProtect), troubleshooting user connection issues and verifying end-to-end connetivity to required internal resources.
8. Operate and maintain perimeter and DMZ network platforms (Palo Alto), supporting network interfaces, routing adjacencies, NAT, and implementation of approved configuration changes. Maintain and validate Palo Alto EDL configurations where used, and monitor for operational impact following updates or policy changes.
9. Operate and maintain application delivery platforms (Citrix NetScaler/ADC), managing VIP/service configurations, health monitors, and traffic troubleshooting.
10. Maintain up-to-date job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining relevant technical skills, and reviewing technical publications and vendor documentation to support continuous improvement in network operations.
Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.

EDUCATION (Minimum Requirements for Position):
Associate's Degree required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Current, valid driver's license issued in the state of legal residence required.
Operate Faith Health owned vehicles required.
IT Certification in IT Security preferred.
Previous Experience Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
2 years of previous experience in IT Networking field preferred.
Combination of 6 years of education and experience in position field preferred.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
SKILLS (If Applicable):
Language Skills - Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.
KNOWLEDGE (If Applicable):
Network protocols: IP, TCP, Spanning Tree, OSPF, BGP, VRRP, ARP and applications interaction at the network layer (e.g. HTTP, SSL, TCP, etc.) required.
Industry-standard networking concepts and technologies required.
Network devices and services, i.e. firewalls, switches, load balancers, remote access/VPN, DNS, wireless, etc. required.
Other Certifications/Requirements:
