About Prosper Health:
At Prosper Health, we are dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality, and compassionate care to our community. We are currently seeking a motivated and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our evening team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking for a stable part-time evening schedule in a fast-paced and supportive clinical environment.

The Role:
As a Medical Assistant, you will be a vital part of our evening clinical team. You will be responsible for standard clinical support—such as rooming patients and taking vitals, and serving as a point of contact for our patients over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Intake: Greet and room patients, record accurate medical histories, and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
  • Patient Communications: Answer incoming patient calls, assist with general inquiries, schedule or adjust appointments, and relay messages between patients and providers.
  • Clinical Support: Assist providers with basic medical procedures, wound care, and point-of-care testing as needed.
  • EMR Management: Accurately document all patient encounters, lab results, and imaging in AdvancedMD.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure exam rooms and the X-ray suite are sanitized, fully stocked, and prepared for incoming patients.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • license in the State of Texas is absolutely required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is strongly preferred.
  • Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an urgent care, primary care, or fast-paced clinic setting is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional patient care and communication skills, strong telephone etiquette, attention to detail, and proficiency with EMR systems (experience with AdvancedMD is a plus).

Why Join Us?
  • Predictable weekday evening schedule (No weekends required).
  • Competitive hourly compensation.
  • A collaborative, community-focused work environment.

To Apply: Please submit your resume and a copy of your current NCT license to hr@prosperhealthtx.com
