Your day as a Project EngineerAs a new Full-Time Project Engineer at EVCO Plastics, you will begin your day by collaborating with cross-functional teams to outline project goals and deliverables that align with our manufacturing objectives. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing project timelines, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and utilizing your plastics experience to propose practical solutions to engineering challenges. You will conduct regular project meetings to track progress and address any issues, allowing for real-time feedback and adjustments. Daily tasks will also involve analyzing data and metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives within our processes.
Additionally, you will maintain detailed documentation of project activities to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing across departments. Your role will require a proactive approach as you actively engage with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution, all while honing your plastics experience in a collaborative, onsite environment.
What you need to be successfulTo succeed as a Full-Time Project Engineer at EVCO Plastics, candidates should possess a strong foundation in engineering principles and a solid background in plastics experience. Proficiency in project management software is essential for tracking progress and coordinating tasks effectively. Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools will enhance your ability to design and refine manufacturing processes.
