Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile engineer to work as AIV Engineer on the Galileo GMS project, the European space flagship programme. Galileo is Europe's Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), providing accurate positioning and timing information. It is funded and owned by the EU, developed by ESA and managed by EUSPA.

CETRA BASE , as partner of Thales Alenia Space France, is currently looking for 1 AIV Engineer to be part of the Galileo GMS Engineering team.

The position can be based in Munich or Stuttgart area (Germany).

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Ground Segment integration based on customer requirements
  • Ground Segment verification and validation
  • SW installation and configuration on Windows and Linux environments
  • SW functional analysis
  • Test procedure execution
  • SW anomalies analysis and troubleshooting
  • To provide Technical Support to all activities
  • To support on site coordination to identify and mitigate current issues
Essential qualifications and experience
  • University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science
  • Experience in Integration, Verification and Validation ofSW
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems
  • Excellent team worker
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team
  • Proficiency level in English, both written and spoken
  • Eligible for security clearance
  • Availability to travel within Europe
Desirable
  • Experience in Space programmes
