The primary role of the Software Engineer is to support our Solutions division in enhancing our existing solutions, and developing new value-adding solutions for our clients.

Our solutions span a mix of software and platform stacks used by leading companies, and highly tailored tools built around our clients’ functional needs. We deliver solutions across transformation and change programme management, manufacturing, operations and asset optimisation, profitability and pricing analytics, and more.

You will support our Lead Engineers and Management Consultants in developing new solutions, enhancing our existing solutions, and working closely with engagement teams to translate data into commercial value for our clients.

Key responsibilities
  • Drive front-end and back-end technical works across multiple projects to deliver end-to-end product features.
  • Collaborate closely with our Consultants to develop value-adding solutions.
  • Be able to identify product limitations and system constraints to create non-functional requirements from the technical perspective.
  • Create high quality technical design.
  • Break down and schedule technical tasks.
  • Implement the solution to the highest standards while adhering to industry-accepted architecture and design pattern techniques and methodologies.
  • Perform effective code reviews by following best practices.
  • Work with our back-end development team to create and optimise solutions.
Your background and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with a strong foundation in Computer Science.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Software Developer.
  • Strong knowledge and production code experience in NodeJS.
  • Experience in at least 1 front-end framework, such as Angular, React or Vue.
  • Experience in scripting languages, such as Bash / Python to build automation and process data.
  • Strong knowledge of Client-Server Architecture, HTTPS and REST API design
  • Strong understanding of data structure and algorithms, SQL.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system such as Ubuntu, CentOS.
  • Experience in CI / CD, Docker & containerised deployment.
  • A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
