Job Title:Logistics Management Specialist
Location:San Diego, CA
Clearance: Secret
Salary:Negotiable
We are looking for aLogistics Management Specialist. Our team supports the MIDS product lines, which consist of the MIDS-Low Volume Terminal (MIDS-LVT) and MIDS Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS JTRS). Our team provides support in Acquisition and Program Management, Configuration and Data Management, Engineering, Test and Evaluation, Logistics, Cybersecurity/Information Assurance, and Risk and Opportunity Management support services for the program office, its products, and related items and processes.
Required Experience:
Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in managing Logistics programs working in a minimum of 7out of the 10 Logistics Elements or 15+ years of relevant military experience or combined twelveyears of USAF/USN experience in two or more of the following areas:

  • Program execution oversight
  • Analytical and problem solving related to logistical issues
  • Software defined radio or similar
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience with United States Air Force/Navy Logistics and
  • Acquisition processes
  • Platform Rep candidate needs to have operator experience, that could include but not limited to flying or managing operational networks

Desired knowledge, skills, abilities, education and experience:
  • Defense Acquisition University Level III or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience supporting Department of the Navy, Air Force or Army projects to include performingprofessional or technical logistics work.
  • Experience coordinating United States Air Force/Navy issues and reporting findings to seniorleadership.
  • Working knowledge of United States Air Force/Navy Logistics and Acquisition processes to includeknowledge of the related United States Air Force acquisition and sustainment organizations,commands and units.
  • In depth understanding of United States Air Force/Navy aviation platforms, aviation avionics,electronics and communication equipment acquisition, sustainment and logistics for United StatesAir Force platforms.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the United States Air Force/Navy supply system, maintenanceconcepts, and sustainment procedures for radios or avionics.
  • Experience in collaborating and coordinating with United States Air Force/Navy Platforms to ensureunderstanding and support of ILS requirements, logistics support plans.
  • Experience in coordinating and communicating program requirements between a program officeand military agencies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with USAF/Navy organizations to understand organizationsinterests and program requirements.
  • Experience in tracking deliveries of products to the USAF/Navy and coordinating returns for repairs,retrofits and status of products.
  • Experience in gathering technical information, calculating, analyzing data and presentinginformation/findings to senior leadership.
  • Experience in tracking squadron deployments and aircraft deliveries to ensure deliveries of productsas required.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Experience in planning, coordinating and administering key meetings such as IPTs, working groupsand program reviews.
Education:
Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited fourโ€year college or university, or a High School Diploma with
