Job description

Job Title: System Analyst with ETL and Ab Initio / ETL Tech Lead
Location: Milford, OH – 100% Onsite
Job Type: Long-Term Contract

Role Overview:

We are seeking a System Analyst/ETL Technical Lead with a strong background in ETL processes and Ab Initio (or similar ETL tools) to support complex data integration initiatives within a healthcare domain. This role will be instrumental in gathering requirements, performing data analysis, and guiding technical teams in the successful delivery of data-centric projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate system and functional requirements across healthcare operations including claims, enrollment, billing, provider management, and utilization review.
  • Design and maintain process flows, data mappings, and system interface specifications.
  • Conduct GAP analysis and impact assessments for system enhancements, platform migrations, and compliance initiatives.
  • Perform source-to-target data mapping and assist in the integration of backend data sources into enterprise systems.
  • Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop and execute test plans for functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triaging, and deployment readiness for major system releases.
  • Utilize SQL and data querying techniques to validate and analyze datasets effectively.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience as a System Analyst in data-intensive environments.
  • Hands-on expertise in ETL tools, preferably Ab Initio (or equivalent like Informatica, Talend).
  • Solid understanding of healthcare systems and workflows.
  • Proficient in SQL, data analysis, and validation techniques.
  • Experience with data mapping, interface specifications, and working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.
