Job Title: Data Engineer (ETL & Big Data)
Location: Phoenix, AZ / Irving (Las Colinas), TX / Minneapolis, MN - Hybrid
Contract Length: 6 months
Pay Rate: $69/hr - $74/hr

Role Overview
This role involves consulting on complex software engineering initiatives. The selected candidate will analyze large-scale engineering challenges, contribute to their resolution, and collaborate with client personnel. The focus is on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable data solutions within a secure development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

• *Ensure secure application development practices aligned with SDLC methodologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain data-driven applications and solutions to support key business needs.
• Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, and scalable software.
• Engineer data processing flows, stored procedures, and dynamic reporting based on predefined standards.
• Produce and maintain functional system design documents and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions through diagrams and code comments.
• Debug, document, and enhance existing systems through code analysis.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of application development and implementation experience.
• 7+ years of SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience.
• 5+ years of experience with secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
• 2+ years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles.
• 2+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) programming experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building scalable data processing pipelines.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
• Ability to work effectively across technical and business stakeholders.
