Veterinary Receptionist opportunity in Jacksonville Beach, FL
Full-Time | 3x12-hour shifts | Days, Evenings, or Overnights Available
$18-$20/hour based on experience + shift differentials
Looking for a Veterinary Receptionist role where you can use your veterinary hospital experience in a fast-paced emergency and specialty environment? Join First Coast Veterinary Specialists & Emergency and work alongside a skilled, supportive team providing advanced emergency and surgical care to pets throughout Northeast Florida.
Veterinary hospital experience is required. Emergency or specialty veterinary experience is strongly preferred.Pay & Benefits:

Schedule:
  • Full-time
  • Three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts available
  • Rotating weekends and some holidays required
Veterinary Receptionist Responsibilities:
  • Greet veterinary clients and patients with professionalism and compassion
  • Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
  • Schedule appointments and route calls appropriately
  • Admit emergency and specialty patients
  • Process payments and client checkouts
  • Maintain accurate medical records and client information
  • Support communication between clients, technicians, and veterinarians
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area
  • Assist with additional administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • Previous veterinary receptionist, veterinary customer service representative, or veterinary front desk experience required
  • Emergency veterinary or specialty veterinary experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and client communication skills
  • Comfortable working around sick or injured animals
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced veterinary hospital
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Computer and phone system proficiency required
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
