An Estimator In Training is an entry-level professional who assists senior estimators in calculating the costs, resources, and time required for construction or manufacturing projects. The role is designed to help them develop the skills and experience needed to become a fully qualified estimator. Estimators In Training often encounter challenges such as interpreting complex project specifications, learning new estimation software, and balancing accuracy with tight deadlines. To overcome these hurdles, it's helpful to actively seek mentorship from experienced estimators, participate in software training sessions, and ask clarifying questions during project meetings.
