What is an estimator in training?

An Estimator In Training is an entry-level professional who assists senior estimators in calculating the costs, resources, and time required for construction or manufacturing projects. They learn on the job by gathering data, reading blueprints, and using specialized software under supervision. The role is designed to help them develop the skills and experience needed to become a fully qualified estimator.
