The Estimating and Procurement Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Operations. The role of the Estimating and Procurement Manager is to serve as a strategic resource to company leadership by overseeing cost estimation, bid development, and purchasing functions in a manner that supports field readiness, operational integrity, and company growth. This role is critical to ensuring that all project estimates and material acquisitions are accurate, timely, and aligned with the mission and fiscal goals of the organization. Ensure all procured materials meet or exceed safety and compliance standards and support safe job execution.Customer First โ€“ Provide timely, cost-effective estimates and sourcing solutions that help teams deliver exceptional service to customers under any conditions.Positive Attitude โ€“ Tackle supply chain disruptions, urgent requests, and project complexity with a solution-minded, can-do spirit that supports field and leadership teams.Lead with Love โ€“ Approach vendor relationships, internal partnerships, and team leadership with humility, integrity, and a servant-leader mentality.Fiscal Responsibility โ€“ Steward the companyโ€™s financial resources by securing competitive pricing, reducing waste, and ensuring estimates are accurate and justifiable.The Estimating and Procurement Manager is to understand all aspects of field operations at Lone Star Hazmat Response, LLC, in conjunction with the materials, supplies, subcontractors, and cost estimating processes needed to support our core emergency and environmental services.Specific tasks for the Estimating and Procurement Manager are as follows:Review project scopes, customer requests, and job specifications to develop accurate, timely cost estimates and job bids.Collaborate with operations, field supervisors, and leadership to clarify project requirements and ensure alignment on estimated costs and logistics.Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in a cost-effective and timely manner while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure favorable pricing and service terms.Maintain accurate records of all estimates, purchase orders, material inventories, and vendor agreements.Track project costs against estimates to monitor profitability and identify areas for improvement in future estimating and procurement processes.Partner with accounting to ensure procurement and estimating data aligns with job costing, billing, and reporting needs.Assist in vendor audits and material reviews as needed to ensure compliance and performance standards.Support operational readiness by being available during on-call rotations, large-scale response events, or urgent project demands.Promote a culture of stewardship, integrity, and teamwork in all aspects of estimating and procurement operations, in support of the companyโ€™s Kingdom Purpose and Core Values.Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).2-3 years of experience in estimating, procurement, project management, or logistics; experience in hazmat response, industrial services, or environmental contracting preferred.Strong understanding of job cost estimating, vendor management, and supply chain operations.Proficiency in estimating software, procurement systems, and Microsoft Excel; experience with job costing systems is a plus.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with strong attention to detail.Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.Knowledge of environmental and hazmat industry supplies, PPE, and regulations strongly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
