Estheticians often face the challenge of establishing a steady client base, especially early in their careers. Success relies on building trust and rapport with clients, networking within the community, and leveraging social media to showcase skills and results. Offering exceptional customer service, asking for referrals, and participating in local events can also help attract and retain clients. Many estheticians find that continuing education and staying current with industry trends further sets them apart and encourages client loyalty.

They provide services such as facials, hair removal, exfoliation, and skin analysis, as well as advice on skincare routines and products. Estheticians typically work in salons, spas, dermatology clinics, or medical offices, and must complete formal training and pass a licensing exam in most regions.
