Job description


The Vice President, Real Estate Project Delivery & Workplace Solutions is a senior executive responsible for leading real estate project delivery, portfolio governance, workplace solutions, and corporate real estate initiatives. This role provides strategic oversight of complex capital programs, workplace transformation projects, and Project Management Office (PMO) functions to ensure consistent execution, operational excellence, and alignment with organizational priorities.
Reporting to the Head of Real Estate, the Vice President establishes project governance, portfolio management standards, resource planning, and delivery methodologies while driving workplace solutions that enhance operational performance, employee experience, and long-term business value.
The position serves as the executive owner for delivering strategic initiatives from concept through completion, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with enterprise objectives. The role collaborates closely with Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and business leaders to align workplace investments with organizational strategy.
Real Estate Project Delivery
  • Provide executive leadership for capital projects, workplace transformation initiatives, headquarters relocations, and corporate real estate programs.
  • Direct the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex, cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain accountability for project scope, schedule, budget, quality, procurement, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead executive steering committees and governance reviews to ensure alignment with corporate priorities.
  • Establish project performance metrics and reporting that support informed executive decision-making.
  • Ensure delivery practices promote consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

PMO Leadership & Portfolio Governance
  • Lead the Real Estate Project Management Office (PMO), establishing governance frameworks, delivery standards, and portfolio management processes.
  • Develop project management methodologies, templates, reporting tools, and governance checkpoints.
  • Oversee portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, capital planning, and project forecasting.
  • Provide executive leadership with accurate portfolio reporting, financial visibility, delivery metrics, and risk assessments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen organizational execution and operational effectiveness.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and standardized project delivery.

Workplace Solutions & Corporate Real Estate
  • Lead workplace solutions that support organizational growth, operational efficiency, and employee experience.
  • Partner with Corporate Real Estate and Workplace Strategy leaders to develop innovative workplace environments aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee workplace modernization initiatives, office consolidations, occupancy planning, and portfolio optimization.
  • Evaluate workplace strategies that improve space utilization, operational performance, and long-term real estate value.
  • Ensure workplace investments align with organizational priorities, financial objectives, and future business needs.

Workplace Technology Enablement
  • Partner with Information Technology and business leaders to support workplace technology initiatives that improve workplace operations and user experience.
  • Promote the effective use of workplace analytics, occupancy insights, and digital workplace tools to support portfolio planning and operational decision-making.
  • Provide business leadership during the implementation and adoption of workplace technology solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise project delivery objectives.

Financial & Operational Leadership
  • Direct capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight for real estate project portfolios.
  • Ensure responsible stewardship of capital investments through effective cost management and financial governance.
  • Oversee consultant selection, contract negotiations, procurement activities, and vendor performance.
  • Identify enterprise risks and implement mitigation strategies that support successful project delivery.

Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing project management professionals and organizational leaders.
  • Foster collaboration across business functions while building strong relationships with executive stakeholders.
  • Promote innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Develop organizational capabilities through succession planning, coaching, and talent development.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise project delivery, corporate real estate, workplace solutions, or portfolio management.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise PMOs and large-scale capital programs.
  • Strong financial acumen, executive communication, strategic planning, and organizational leadership skills.
  • Experience partnering with business and technology leaders to support workplace innovation.
  • PMP, LEED, Prosci, or related certifications preferred.

The pay range for the role is $158,550 to $229,950. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors.
