Job description

We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to support a sophisticated estate planning practice. This role is ideal for a candidate with substantial experience drafting and administering complex trusts and high-net-worth estate planning documents.

The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys on advanced estate planning matters and play a key role in the preparation, organization, and execution of trust and estate planning strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related estate planning documents

  • Prepare and administer complex trusts, including:

    • Grantor Trusts

    • Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs)

    • Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts (GRATs)

    • Spousal Lifetime Access Trusts (SLATs)

    • Qualified Personal Residence Trusts (QPRTs)

    • Charitable Trusts

  • Assist with trust funding and asset transfer documentation

  • Coordinate document execution and maintain estate planning files

  • Communicate with clients and advisors regarding estate planning matters

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of estate planning paralegal experience

  • Demonstrated experience working with complex trusts is required

  • Strong knowledge of estate planning concepts, trust structures, and related documentation
