This is a full-time position that offers you the flexibility of working remotely, allowing you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your own home while still serving our diverse client base across San Francisco, California, and beyond. You will play a vital role in delivering personalized therapeutic care, contributing to the emotional wellbeing and personal growth of individuals and families facing various mental health challenges.

About the Organization

At Essential Grace Mental Healthcare, we pride ourselves on being a leading provider of mental health services. Our team is committed to making high-quality mental health care accessible to individuals who may otherwise have limited access to support. Our approach emphasizes compassionate and client-centered care, with a focus on fostering trust and promoting positive outcomes. We offer a supportive environment for our staff, characterized by collaboration, professional development, and a shared mission to help those in need.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. As a part of our virtual team, you will have the flexibility to create a work schedule that aligns with your life—an essential aspect in maintaining a satisfying work-life balance. You will interact with clients primarily through video conferencing platforms, ensuring that emotional support is just a click away. Our organization provides continuous training and development on telehealth best practices, allowing you to stay proficient in this evolving landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to facilitate healing and growth through individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
  • Incorporate various therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring that interventions are relevant and effective.
  • Document all client interactions and therapeutic progress accurately in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that clinical records are maintained to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive and coordinated client care.
  • Stay informed of the latest developments in mental health research by participating in ongoing professional development workshops.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be providing services to a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role will be crucial in delivering support to those who have historically encountered barriers to accessing mental health services, thereby making a significant impact on their quality of life and overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Active and unrestricted LPCC licensure in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in counseling, preferably within a therapeutic setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Competency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software and telehealth technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly desirable.
  • Experience in providing telehealth services or familiarity with virtual therapy platforms is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including dental, vision, and health insurance options.
  • Access to malpractice insurance and client referrals to build your practice.
  • Support in billing and documentation processes to alleviate administrative burdens.
  • Eligible for a significant sign-on bonus upon joining the team.
Career Growth Opportunities

Essential Grace Mental Healthcare is committed to the professional development of our counselors. You will have access to ongoing training sessions, workshops, and mentoring opportunities, allowing you to broaden your skills and enhance your career trajectory. We encourage our team members to pursue specialized certifications, which can pave the way for advanced roles within our organization.

Why Join Our Team
