What is an essential oil?

Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts that capture the natural aroma and beneficial properties of their source. They are typically obtained through distillation or cold pressing from various parts of plants, such as leaves, flowers, or fruits. Essential oils are commonly used in aromatherapy, personal care products, and sometimes in cleaning products for their fragrance and potential therapeutic benefits. However, they should be used with caution, as they are highly potent and can cause adverse reactions if misused. Always follow safe usage guidelines and consult with a healthcare professional if you have concerns.
