Job description

The Aerospace Corporation is the trusted partner to the nation's space programs, solving the hardest problems and providing unmatched technical expertise. As the operator of a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC), we are broadly engaged across all aspects of space- delivering innovative solutions that span satellite, launch, ground, and cyber systems for defense, civil and commercial customers. When you join our team, you'll be part of a special collection of problem solvers, thought leaders, and innovators. Join us and take your place in space.
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO)/Enterprise Solutions Programs (ESP) is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Programs Partner (Staff III/IV) who will act as a liaison between OCIO and assigned business or mission areas, ensuring alignment between OCIO initiatives and organizational priorities. In this role, you will focus on managing intake processes, coordinating cross-functional delivery teams, and tracking the progress of projects to ensure on-time, on-budget completion. Success is measured as strengthening OCIO stakeholder engagement, effectively prioritizing IT, security, data/artificial intelligence (AI), safety and cybersecurity demand, and aligning initiatives with organizational goals.
This position also offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across the corporation by ensuring enterprise solutions meet the needs of mission-critical operations and requirements. You will play a key role in bridging technology initiatives with operational priorities, driving measurable value, and enhancing the organization's ability to deliver on its mission. This role provides opportunities within a high-impact environment while fostering collaboration across technical and business teams.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for East Coast regional offices, building relationships and understanding their technology, data, cyber, and security needs
  • Manage the intake process by evaluating project proposals, assessing alignment with strategic priorities, and facilitating prioritization discussions
  • Oversee project tracking and reporting, ensuring updates are communicated to stakeholders and leadership
  • Collaborate with the ESP Project Management Office and cross-functional delivery teams to support the monitoring and execution of initiatives, developing key performance indicators, resolving issues, and mitigating risks as needed
  • Analyze project performance metrics, such as cycle time, customer satisfaction, and resource allocation, to ensure delivery effectiveness
  • Prepare materials and present updates on the status and risks of ongoing initiatives
  • Represent stakeholder interests in governance forums, advocating for the prioritization of initiatives critical to customers and their operational success
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by leveraging lessons learned and refining governance and delivery processes

What you Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements for the Enterprise Solutions Programs Partner Staff III:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in project or portfolio management, business analysis, direct customer relations, or a related role
  • Knowledge of organizational management standards, principles, and concepts with the ability to provide solutions to projects across IT, security, data / AI, cybersecurity, and safety
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., ITIL, Agile) and tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10-25% of the time

In addition to the requirement above, the minimum requirements for the Enterprise Solutions Programs Partner Staff IV are:
  • Eight or more years of total relevant experience in project or portfolio management, business analysis, direct customer relations, or a related role
  • Professional management certification (i.e. Business Relationship Management, IT Infrastructure Library, IT Service Management, etc.) or an ability to gain certification within 180 days of start

How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
  • Advanced degree in related field
  • Experience supporting FFRDCs, U.S. federal government clients, or the space industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, cloud infrastructure, or data analytics in the context of national security operations
  • Familiarity with secure data sharing, regulations and compliance detailed by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) frameworks, and / or Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) standards
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance
