Job description

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing lesson plans and instructing adults in ESL courses

• Monitoring student performance

• Advising students on progress

• Administering written and oral exams

• Taking student attendance

• Grading exams

• Other duties as directed

Requirements (Candidates must have):

• Bachelors degree in Education, Communication, or any related field

• 1 year of ESL adult teaching experience in a classroom setting (tutoring and volunteer work does not meet this requirement) or

• At least 120-hour certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESL/CELTA/TESOL/TEFL/similar certificate); (Master’s degree in TESOL highly preferred)
