Job description

Department: Patient Guest Rep
Shift: Varies
Working Hours: Monday 12-8pm, Thursday 5-9pm, and Sunday 10-2pm. Will have the option to pick up additional shifts as available.
Summary:
The Patient Guest Representative serves as the liaison between patients and hospital staff, including nurses and doctors, with the goal of improving customer satisfaction scores. This role involves minimal data entry, direct patient and guest interaction, performing visitor management and required regulatory screenings, and documenting information in visitor logs. The representative is also responsible for escorting patients, answering questions and phones, transferring calls, and maintaining the neatness of work and waiting areas. They must maintain a minimum standard of productivity, quality, and performance while adhering to set policies and procedures. Additionally, the role assists with training new employees and implementing new processes, policies, and procedures.
Other information:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school diploma required. An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university is highly preferred.
  2. Exceptional customer service skills required
  3. Demonstrated customer service experience
  4. Proficient with Google Suite
  5. Familiarity with Epic system preferred

This job will be authorized 0.01 hours bi-weekly.
