Job description


The Airfield Escort Driver is responsible for safely escorting contractors, vendors, and authorized personnel within secured airside areas of the airport. This position ensures compliance with airport authority regulations, FAA requirements, and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
Key Responsibilities
  • Escort vehicles and personnel in restricted airside areas in accordance with airport regulations
  • Maintain continuous visual control of escorted vehicles and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with Air Traffic Control (ATC), airport operations, and project supervisors
  • Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspections and maintain clean, professional company vehicles
  • Monitor airfield conditions and remain alert to aircraft movements at all times
  • Enforce safety protocols and immediately report hazards or violations
  • Complete required documentation and escort logs accurately and timely

Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass airport background check and obtain required security badge
  • Ability to pass drug screening
  • Strong situational awareness and communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
