Job description

Security Escort Position

Tier One Technologies is seeking a Security Escort to support operations inside restricted areas at the DoD Cyber Crime Center in Linthicum Heights, MD. This engagement is to provide unarmed, cleared security and escort services for the facilities.

Selected candidates without required clearance will be subject to a federal government background investigation to receive it. Must be a US citizen and have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.

Shift: approximately 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM EST.

Responsibilities
  • Provide escort services for contracted and uncleared construction personnel to work area perimeter.
  • Open the space, issue badges, and ensure accountability for the morning sign-in roster.
  • Escort the onsite movement of contractors, vendors, and other visitors.
  • Monitor activities in, near, and around secure government buildings.
  • Ensure non-cleared personnel or visitors adhere to all designated non-secure areas.
  • Exercise good judgement and caution, and immediately report all non-compliant and/or suspicious activity.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of all classified locations, including monitoring the activities of construction personnel during the construction of secure buildings, potentially including Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF).
Qualifications
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to be punctual, start early and follow instructions.
  • Must have previous escort or security experience in a federal environment.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
